As a dentist in Jenks, it’s extremely rewarding to Dr. Schuyler to help a patient feel more confident about their
smile, and nothing makes her happier than the look on her patient’s faces when they get to see their results for the
first time. Whether you just need a routine dental checkup or something more involved, she’s here to make sure your
smile helps you feel self-assured no matter the situation. Before you have a chance to meet her in person, you can
learn a little more about her below.
Why Did You Decide to
Become a Dentist?
Dr. Schuyler grew up around dentistry thanks to her dad, who has been a practicing dentist in Lindsay for over 40
years, and her dental hygienist mom. She finally realized that she wanted to follow in their footsteps after
going on a dental mission trip and assisting her dad. From there, her path was set, and she hasn’t looked back
since.
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
After earning her bachelor's degree at Oklahoma State University, Dr. Schuyler graduated from the
University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. She then went on to complete a one-year Advanced Education
in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency where she learned how to diagnose and treat complex cases. During
this time, she worked alongside specialists and was trained to perform various surgeries, including
dental implant placement, sinus lifts, and gingival grafts. She also has the knowledge and ability to
place Botox and dermal fillers to accentuate a beautiful smile.
Always learning and trying to improve herself, Dr. Schuyler is an active member of the American Dental
Association and Oklahoma Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Schuyler and her husband met while she was in dental school, and today, they are the proud parents of a baby
girl. Their three dogs, Judge, Trap, and Toast, complete their family and go everywhere with them. On the
weekends, you’ll often find Dr. Schuyler staying active by hiking, backpacking, wakeboarding, or skiing. She
also likes to cook with her husband. A former gymnast, she says she can still do a backflip off of almost
anything!
